BLITZEN RIVER - MAY

Original acrylic painting on canvas. 36" x 36"  I did a series of paintings to celebrate the anniversary of the Wild & Scenic Rivers Act. I really enjoyed painting these large format pieces. The columnar basalt is a celebration with those bold brush strokes and palette knife work.
