Meet at 341 N Broadway, Burns OR 8AM

Cost: $900 per person, includes food and transportation.

$700 if participant provides transportation (besides bikes). 

Participant/Vehicle Limit: 12 Participants, up to 6 participant vehicles.

Driving distance: 90 miles round trip

Driving Info: This route can be driven by most 4x4/ high clearance vehicles, the end of the drive gets quite rough but can be hiked.

Itinerary/Concept:

This trip with Calamity Butte Guide Service is a unique opportunity to obtain highly sought after Stinkingwater Golden Oak petrified wood and experience the high desert oasis of Clear Creek. Hiking is required to get to the primary location but I generally shuttle lunch materials with the ATV for convenience. The hike is about 4 miles long round trip and is moderately difficult with some steep sections, petrified wood can be found along the hike in. This trip is open to 12 participants and includes transportation but participants can provide their own transportation if they desire. All meals are provided. No experience is necessary.
